The 9th annual 2024 Crush Cancer event will be held outdoors on Sunday, May 5, at the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club in Virginia Beach, VA. More than 400 riders are expected to participate, with a goal to collectively raise over $250,000!

The event is entirely managed by a local group of volunteers and has become the largest, independently run event of its kind in the nation.

Rare cancers affect approximately 50% of all people diagnosed with cancer. Many Of these diseases are familiar – such as leukemia, lymphoma, all pediatric cancers, brain, ovarian, and pancreatic cancers, and many others.

This year, we've chosen to bring attention to the local fire fighting group who serve our community day in and day out to keep us safe, and as a result of their occupation, have increased risk of cancer. Click here to learn more and watch a short clip from our kickoff event in March.

CRUSH CANCER is a local rare cancer research FUNdraising event benefiting Cycle for Survival, the national movement to beat rare cancers. We have raised over $2,100,000 since 2015.

Cycle for Survival's high-energy cycling events provide a tangible way for you to fight back — 100% of all money raised by team participants directly funds lifesaving rare cancer research.

100% of every donation to Cycle for Survival is directly allocated to research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center within six months of the events. The donations go to pioneering research and clinical trials, and have already led to new and better treatments for cancer patients worldwide. Memorial Sloan Kettering researchers collaborate with institutions around the world, and have led the way in developing new ways to diagnose and treat cancer.
